The webinar will feature an overview of the program, including project process and how to get involved. Additionally, the session will be diving into a project in Plymouth County, MA in need of volunteers. The community currently has a partially seasonal water distribution system that they are looking to upgrade to be functional year-round. The University of Rhode Island Engineers Without Borders Student chapter will be featured to share their experience with the program and discuss an overview of their work on a project in Allegany County, MD. This project includes development of a Preliminary Engineering Report to upgrade a small community’s spring fed water system built in the 1960’s.
