Wave of the Future: Innovations in Water Technology and Sustainability

The New England Section AWWA is excited to announce our inaugural annual conference, set for October 2025 at Encore, Boston Harbor! This event will bring together industry leaders, professionals, and emerging talent to explore cutting-edge innovations in water technology and sustainability. The Wave of the Future conference is a premier gathering of experts, innovators, and industry leaders dedicated to advancing the future of water technology and sustainability. This event will explore groundbreaking research, cutting-edge solutions, and transformative policies shaping the water sector.

Through engaging presentations, panel discussions, case studies, and hands-on workshops, attendees will gain insights into emerging trends in water treatment, conservation, smart infrastructure, climate resilience, and much more. Whether you're a scientist, engineer, policymaker, or industry professional, this conference provides a unique platform to exchange ideas, forge collaborations, and drive meaningful progress toward a sustainable water future.

TCH Approval(s): NE-AWWA has applied for approval in our 5 member states: MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT.  Approvals will be posted as received. Credits will be awarded for each day of attendance.
Massachusetts course ID number is DWT-2025-76.  The approval is 4 hours each day.
New Hampshire has approved the conference.  The approval is for 8 hours in total.
Vermont has pre-approved the conference. The approval is for 8 hours in total.
Maine course ID 145-2025. The approval is for a total 8 hours for the entire conference.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS: NE-AWWA is committed to facilitating member attendance at the conference, whether for one or both days. Organizations may split a single registration between two employees (each attending one day) under a single full conference registration through our system by selecting the appropriate option and providing the name of the second attendee. Additionally, organizations registering four or more individuals for the full conference are eligible for a 10% discount on total registration fees; please contact our office for assistance with processing group registrations.  

HOTEL INFORMATION: Encore Boston Harbor sits on 33 acres right on the historic Boston Harbor. At Encore Boston Harbor, every room and suite is designed for a serene and stylish retreat. Overnight guest will enjoy complimentary parking and Wi-Fi for the event as well as full use of the many great amenities offered by the hotel. A room block has been reserved at a discounted rate of $329/night, plus taxes. Please contact the Section Office if you need overnight accomodations. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation requests must be made in writing, via e-mail no later than four weeks prior to the start date of the conference (Wednesday, October 1). All refund requests will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee per registration. No refund is available after October 1.
