Webinar: Hydrant Assessments for Asset Management
The New England Section is pleased to collaborate with RCAP Solutions in presenting the upcoming webinar, Hydrant Assessments for Asset Management, scheduled for January 13, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. This event is complimentary for all interested parties. Registration is required.
Presenter: Danielle Desmarais is a Community Specialist and TAP who has been with RCAP Solutions since 2021. She graduated from Clark University in Worcester, MA with a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy, where she focused on water systems management. She has specialized experience in asset management and capital improvement plans. She also earned a certificate in Proper Hydrant Operation & Maintenance from the Massachusetts Water Works Association.
Learning Objectives:
- Review the history of modern hydrants and firefighting
- Identify the key components of a hydrant
- Explore methods for recording hydrant data and available data sources
- Assess hydrant condition through visual inspection
RCAP is approved TCH provider in MA and RI. TCH applications are pending for other Section states - ME, NH and VT.
